Leonard Cohen - Recent Songs (CD)

Leonard Cohen’s sixth studio album Recent Songs, released in 1979, sees a return to his more minimalist ways and longtime collaborator Jennifer Warnes factors prominently in the album’s vocal interplay. Members of the band Passenger, introduced to Cohen by Joni Mitchell (who also recommended producer Henry Lewy), play on four tracks. Highlights include tracks, "The Guests", "The Window" and the French-Canadian folk tune "The Lost Canadian (Un Canadien Errant)"
